Valerus Starts Integrated Compressor Monitoring
Valerus has launched its Command system for its contract compression fleet and other facilities that it owns and operates.
The company said Valerus Command is an improvement from the usual SCADA and monitoring systems, integrating remote monitoring and analytics, enterprise asset management (EAM), standard operating procedures and technical expertise to deliver actionable information and insight.
“We’ve invested extensively in our people, in this technology, and in process improvement to launch what we believe is the most comprehensive performance monitoring and predictive analytics system available for surface facilities,” said Valerus CEO Pete Lane.
Valerus partnered with Enbase Energy Technology, which developed the performance monitoring and analytics portion, or predictive SCADA. It feeds data into the Valerus EAM system, which generates a work order with model-specific maintenance procedures and routes service technicians to provide timely, effective response.
