Sullair, an industry-leading compressed air solutions provider since 1965, donated a new off-the-line 185 cfm portable air compressor to the city of Michigan City as part of its 50th anniversary celebration held on July 31.
“The city of Michigan City, Indiana, has been our partner in how we have been able to sustain 50 years of business. We couldn’t have done it without the city, the community and our partnership,” said Greg Hutchison, Sullair’s Vice President and General Manager of Operations. “As a token of our gratitude back to the city, we are pleased to present Mayor Ron Meer with this compressor.”
Mayor Ron Meer thanked Sullair and said that the city is committed to continuing to work together. He also shared how he is often reminded of Michigan City as he travels and sees Sullair equipment on construction sites and highways across the country. The city plans to add the compressor to its municipal fleet, and it will be put to work immediately.
The 185 portable rotary screw air compressor produces 185 cfm at 100 psig. Sullair offers a broad range of portable air compressors ranging from 185 cfm to 1600 cfm, including high pressure options.
Nearly 1,200 people, including Sullair employees and their families, attended the 50th celebration, which had activities for all ages.
