Dresser-Rand supplying compressor train for Chinese air separation plant

The Dresser-Rand Business, which is part of Siemens Power and Gas, will be supplying a compressor train to Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Hangzhou Co. for use in a cryogenic air separation plant in Dalateqi (Inner Mongolia), China.
The compressor train will be of a similar configuration to the one pictured above, with a main air compressor, a booster and a steam turbine.
The compressor train will use the new Siemens STC-SI main air compressor, an STC-GV (H) booster and an SST-600 steam turbine. The plant will supply nitrogen and oxygen to produce light hydrocarbon.
The STC-SI unit will be manufactured and tested in Duisburg, Germany, and the booster and steam turbine will be manufactured at Siemens' plant in Huludao, China.
The equipment is set for a July, 2017 delivery with commercial operation set to begin in March, 2018.
