Gas compressor institute becomes southwest energy institute
The Gas Compressor Institute, an annual oil and gas trade show held in Liberal, Kansas, has a new name – the Southwest Energy Institute.
The show, which has a 63-year history in the area, will be held April 27-30 at the Seward County Event Center. Attendees can take part in a variety of lectures, hands-on sessions, discussions, demonstrations and industry exhibits, all of which pertain to the oil and gas industry. More than 100 exhibitors will be in attendance.
Registration remains open. The cost is $79 for early bird registration up until April 10th. The price goes to $89 after that date.
The Southwest Energy Institute Planning Committee, formally the Gas Compressor Institute and Measurement & Pipeline Institute, has brought new concepts and training to the Midwest for decades. Proceeds from each Institute are used exclusively for the expenses of the Institute, scholarships and Petroleum Industry Education programs.
